You are dining in a restaurant. Below is the conversation that takes place in the restaurant.
You: Tolong, satu meja untuk dua orang.
You: A table for two please.
Waitress: Silahkan duduk disini.
Waitress: Please sit here.
You: Bisa saya lihat menunya?
You: Can I look at the menu?
Waitress: Ini menunya.
Waitress: Here is the menu.
You: Saya mau pesan ayam bakar dan mie goreng.
You: I want to order ayam bakar (grilled chicken) and mie goreng (fried noodles)
Waitress: Minumannya?
Waitress: And the drink?
You: Jus orange.
You: Orange juice.
Waitress: Saya ulangi ya pak/bu. Satu ayam bakar, satu mie goreng, dan satu jus orange. Ada lagi?
Waitress: I’ll repeat your order sir/mam. One grilled chicken, one fried noodles, and one orange juice. Is there anything else?
You: Sudah cukup untuk sekarang.
You: That’s it for now.
Waitress: Tolong pesanannya ditunggu ya pak/bu.
Waitress: Please wait for your food sir/mam.
After you have eaten.
You: Mbak-mbak!
You: Excuse me, waitress!
Waitress: Ada yang bisa saya bantu?
Waitress: Is there anything I could help you?
You: Saya ingin membayar.
You: I would like to pay.
((You use ‘Mbak’ to adress a waitress, and ‘Mas’ to adress a waiter))
